Born and bred in London, Pepe has worked for over twenty years in the ever unfolding cultural hub of Bankside in Southwark, at both The Rose Playhouse and Shakespeare’s Globe. He has a special interest in the area around the theatres of Bankside – past and present.

Pepe’s knowledge is much broader than just Elizabethan history though – he is a leading guide at the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Stonehenge and is an expert guide at some of England’s most iconic places, including to Bath and Windsor.

He has given presentations and lectures across the UK, Europe, North America and Canada as an invited guest at many universities, education institutions and societies.

So in short, if Pepe doesn’t know the answer to your historical question, its probably not worth knowing!
